....and under the tree was a nice sandwich resting in a backpack for the bear to take. The people that owned the bag were near me wondering if their lunch was going to be there after the bear left. Hardly! Another note: I turned to tell Michael that I was getting some cool pictures and noticed he bolted 1000 yards down river with our fish!

When the cubs left, I climbed the river bank to see if I could find their mother. I caught the mother in the tree line with one of the cubs next to her (there were 3 cubs in total). Notice the size difference! I'm glad she didn't come down by us. They wound up going down river and mangling another fisherman's backpack that had food in it. Then they took it into the forest. I'm not sure the guy went after it.
